This Star Wars–themed case study module from Fandom Atlas uses the journeys of beloved characters like Ahsoka Tano and Grogu to explore identity formation, resilience, and the search for belonging. Rooted in communication theory and narrative analysis, this workbook blends fandom culture with mental wellness and social-emotional learning.
Perfect for personal reflection or classroom use, the module includes guided journaling, creative prompts, and thought-provoking activities that examine what it means to choose your path, build community, and grow through connection.
Whether you’re a student, educator, or lifelong fan, this Star Wars case study module invites you to find your way—across galaxies or within yourself.

I started this project during my master’s program in Communication Studies to explore how fandom communities offer more than just entertainment—they offer belonging. When I was struggling with isolation and depression, the stories I turned to—Star Wars, Marvel, Doctor Who—helped me feel seen. They helped me feel connected.
Fandom Atlas is the result of that journey. It’s a cultural guide to fandoms and well-being, rooted in academic research and built with love. Here, you’ll find digital workbooks, creative assignments, and reflection prompts that use fandom culture as a gateway to explore identity, resilience, and community.
I believe storytelling through television can be a lifeline. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just getting curious, Fandom Atlas is here to help you discover your people, find your voice, and remember that you’re never alone.
